KSS’ Alumnae Choir
Kvindelige Studenters Sangforening (KSS) – The Women’s Choral Society of the University of Oslo – Alumnae Choir was founded in 2011. The choir is an alternative for all KSS 'members when they no longer have the opportunity to be active in the main choir. The Alumnae Choir describes itself as "Kvindelige Studenters Sangforenings biggest fans" and ties between the two choirs are close. Many of the important traditions of KSS’ history are carried on in KSS Alumnae Choir and choir members are ex officio guests to many of KSS their events.
The choir rehearses once a month and currently has about 25 active singers.
KSS Alumnae Choir is conducted by Kvindelige Studenters Sangforenings former deputy conductor Liv Astrid Dahl, who completed graduate studies in choir conducting spring 2015 at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
